Since transitioning to a fully civilian airport in 2006, there has been a steady increase in passenger numbers. 2019 saw the introduction of new airline partner, SAS, operating a direct summer route to Copenhagen. This is the third consecutive year a new airline partner has been added to the schedule.
Boasting over 461K passengers in 2019, the airport is looking to streamline their ID pass processes, moving towards a more efficient and secure system.
